General Rules
Basic tournament rules and regulations
General Tournament Rules
The V-Total platform operates on multiple servers, each covering different football leagues:
- Blue Server: Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga, Champions League
- Red Server: Serie A, Ligue 1, Europa League, Russian Premier League
Tournament Formats
Three formats are supported:
Each tournament consists of a sequence of rounds where participants predict real football match outcomes.
Main goal: Earn points for prediction accuracy and defeat opponents.
Division Launch Conditions
A division can be launched when both conditions are met:
- Deadline has passed AND minimum 4 players registered
- OR 20 participants registered
Predictions and Deadlines
- Each round uses 6 real football matches
- Prediction deadline: 1 hour before match start
- After round completion, system calculates points and updates the table
MMR System
MMR (Matchmaking Rating) reflects a player's skill level and affects their position in the division system:
- Higher MMR grants access to more prestigious divisions
- MMR updates after each tournament
Division MMR Ranges
Division | MMR Range |
---|---|
1 | 1200+ |
2 | 1050–1650 |
3 | 900–1350 |
4 | 750–1150 |
5 | 600–950 |
6 | 450–750 |
7 | 300–550 |
8 | 175–400 |
9 | 75–250 |
10 | 0–100 |
Prediction Scoring System
Closeness Index (CI)
CI determines how "close" your prediction is to the real result:
CI = |(predicted goal difference - actual difference)| + |(predicted total goals - actual total)| / 2
Lower CI = closer prediction
Perfect prediction (exact score) = CI = 0
Bonus Points (Slam Points)
After Round
- Updated tournament table is formed
- Round MVP is determined (player with most points; random selection if tied)
- MVP gets 24 hours to select next round matches from upcoming 3 days in available leagues
- If less than 6 matches available in 3 days, selection deadline extends by another day
Tournament Results and MMR
- MMR changes are awarded based on format and server rules
- Tournament is archived, statistics and tables remain available
One-on-One Rules
Rules for individual player matches
Solo Division Rules
Solo divisions are individual tournaments where players compete against each other through football predictions. The goal is to achieve the highest score and climb the leaderboard.
Participation and Launch
- Minimum 4 players required to launch a division
- Division starts when one of the following conditions is met:
- 20 players are registered
- Deadline is reached with ≥4 participants
First Round
- System randomly selects 6 matches from available leagues for the next 2 days
- Participants receive notification about the start
- Deadline for each match is 1 hour before kickoff
- Opponent predictions become visible only after the deadline
After Round Completion
When all matches are completed:
- System updates the tournament table
- MVP of the round is determined (player with highest prediction points, random selection if tied)
MVP Responsibilities
- MVP has 24 hours to select 6 matches for the next round
- If MVP doesn't select matches on time → system automatically selects them randomly
- If fewer than 6 matches available in the next 2 days → selection deadline is extended by 24 hours
Table Tiebreaker
If two or more players have the same total points:
- Player with higher total prediction points goes first
- Head-to-head result is considered
- If still tied → number of correct outcomes for the season
Division Completion
At the end of all rounds:
- System calculates final results
- Players receive MMR updates based on final position
- Division is archived and brief participation statistics are displayed in profile
- Full round history is accessible via "Division Details" button
Paid Division
Prize Pool Calculation
For individual (solo) divisions:
Prize Pool = Number of Participants × Entry Fee
- Admin commission = 10% of total pool
- Available prize pool = Prize Pool - Admin Commission
Prize Distribution by Places
4-8 Participants
9-15 Participants
16-20 Participants
Prize Pool: 100 VT → Available: 90 VT
1st: 45 VT, 2nd: 27 VT, 3rd: 18 VT
Strategy Tips
Solo divisions require individual skill, strategic thinking, and consistent performance. Every prediction counts towards your final position!
Squad Rules
Rules for team-based matches
Team Division Rules
Team divisions are played in "team vs team" format according to round schedule. The main goal is to score more goals than the opponent through joint predictions and special abilities.
Teams and Roles
Team Composition
- Teams can have 3 to 5 players
- Minimum 3 active players required for participation
- Team creator becomes captain and can:
- Configure starting lineup
- Invite and remove players
- Manage player positions
Positions
Starting lineup consists of 3 players in different positions:
Abilities System
Each player chooses an ability for their role in the round.
Defender Abilities
Midfielder Abilities
Forward Abilities
Goals System
Midfielder Support
Midfielder point difference is divided between team attack and defense based on Field Tactics choice.
Forward Goals
Calculated by formula:
(Forward Points + Attack Support) - (Defender Points + Defense Support)
- Each odd advantage = 1 goal
- Forward has priority in scoring
Defender Goals
Defender can score 1 goal if:
Defender Points ≥ (Opponent Attack + 7)
Goal Attribution
- Goals are first attributed to forward
- Remaining goals → midfielder
- If forward has no points → all goals to midfielder
Tournament Table

Cup Rules
Rules for cup tournaments
Cup Division Rules
Cup divisions are conducted in a playoff bracket format. All participants are paired up; winners advance to the next round until a tournament champion is determined.
Participation and Seeding
- Minimum 4 participants required to launch
- First round seeding is formed randomly
- If the number of players is not a power of two, some participants receive a bye (automatic advancement to the next round)
Rounds and Matches
- In each round, the system selects 6 real football matches for predictions
- Duel winner is determined by the sum of points from these predictions
- Participants compete head-to-head in elimination format
- Losers are eliminated from the tournament
Tie Resolution
If the sum of points is equal, a "penalty shootout" series is conducted within the application:
- A separate deadline is given for completion (usually 24 hours)
- Players take turns making penalty predictions
- System tracks penalty saves and goals
- Winner is determined by penalty shootout results
Tournament Completion
After the tournament ends:
- Participants receive MMR recalculation based on results
- Division is archived
- Participation history remains in profiles (bracket and results)
- Full tournament bracket is accessible for review
New Cup Divisions
- As soon as the current cup division transitions to "active" status, registration for the next one automatically opens
- Continuous cup tournaments ensure ongoing competition
- Players can join new cups immediately after current ones start
Naming Convention
